ProGrip is compatible with the majority of smartphones available in the market. It features a phone clamp that opens symmetrically and closes securely when released, accommodating devices between 58 and 90 mm wide. This includes phones with or without a case.
Step 1: Attach your smartphone to the ProGrip.
Gently open the phone clamp, place your device within the clamp, and release it to secure the phone. Ensure a snug fit to prevent any movement during use.
Step 2: Power on the ProGrip.
Locate the shutter button on the ProGrip and press it to turn it on. The blue LED light will start blinking, indicating that the ProGrip is powered on and ready to be connected to a device.
Step 3: Connect ProGrip to your smartphone's Bluetooth.
On your smartphone, go to the Settings menu and enable Bluetooth. Then, search for available Bluetooth devices and select "ShiftCam ProGrip" from the list.
Step 4: Verify the connection.
Once the ProGrip is successfully connected to your smartphone, the blue LED light on the ProGrip will stop blinking and light up continuously in blue. This indicates that the ProGrip is now connected to a device and ready to be used.
Step 5: Launch your camera app on your smartphone and you are now ready to take photos or videos with your ProGrip.
a. To take a photo, click the shutter button on the ProGrip once. This will capture a single photo.
b. To record a video, press and hold the shutter button on the ProGrip. This will initiate video recording. Release the button to stop recording.
Switch between Landscape and Portrait mode
The ProGrip allows you to switch between landscape and portrait orientations effortlessly. Simply rotate the ProGrip clamp or adjust the orientation of your smartphone accordingly. The ProGrip's design ensures a secure grip in both orientations, providing stability for capturing photos and videos.
