Step 1: Assemble the foam windscreen or furry windscreen onto the microphone.
Slide the windscreen onto the microphone's body, ensuring a snug fit to reduce wind noise during recording.
Step 2: Equip the universal shockproof bracket onto the microphone.
Attach the bracket securely around the microphone, providing stability and reducing handling noise during recording.
Step 3: Connecting to a Phone or Camera
a. To Connect to a Phone:
- Use a 3.5mm TRRS to TRRS data cable.
- Connect one end of the cable to the microphone audio jack.
- Connect the other end to the headphone jack of your phone.
- Ensure a secure connection to enable audio input from the microphone during recording.
b. To Connect to a Camera:
- Use a TRS to TRRS data cable.
- Connect the TRS end of the cable to the camera's audio input jack.
- Connect the TRRS end of the cable to the microphone audio jack.
- Ensure a secure connection to enable audio recording from the microphone.
Step 4: Your ProMic Shotgun is now ready to use.
You can attach the ProMic to the ProGrip's cold shoe mount and SnapShoe if you will use it with SnapGrip.
