To help you troubleshoot the pairing issue with your ProGrip and phone, please follow these steps:
Step 1: Power on the ProGrip.
After charging the device, press the shutter button once to turn on the ProGrip. You should see a blinking blue LED on the ProGrip, indicating that the device is powered on and ready to pair.
Step 2: Reset Connection.
Press and hold the BT connect reset button on the ProGrip for 5 seconds or until the blue LED light starts blinking. The blinking blue LED light indicates that there is no device currently connected to the ProGrip.
Step 3: Check Phone Settings.
Ensure that your smartphone's Bluetooth is turned on and set to discoverable mode. Navigate to your phone's Bluetooth settings and search for nearby Bluetooth devices to find and pair with "ShiftCam ProGrip".
Step 4: Forget and Re-Pair.
If you've previously paired the ProGrip with your phone, go to your phone's Bluetooth settings and "Forget" the ProGrip. Turn off Bluetooth on your phone and restart your phone to refresh the Bluetooth connection. After restarting your phone, try to pair the ProGrip again as a new device by following the pairing instructions provided in the Getting Started with your ProGrip article.
Step 5: Contact Support.
If the issue persists after trying the above steps, we recommend contacting our customer support for further assistance. Submit a request to the support team and provide a video demonstrating the issue by showing that you've followed the steps provided above. This can help the support team better understand the problem and provide appropriate guidance or initiate a replacement if necessary.
